just as a follow up, i wanted to post the final version of the digital painting i posted earlier on this blog, and i hope you guys enjoy it and i hope everyone eats a lot of tukey for this thanksgiving.. keep it up and keep doing art!!!

i am currently working on this cool piece .. its one of those pieces you get home and can't wait to work on it.. i plan on finishing some time soon but i decided to share some of the progress and time effort i have put into it..

conquistadores

ever wonder what happened minutes before colombus got to america.. the sensation is there and what other way to represent something than by visually showing it. i would like to say that doing concept art is so far the coolest sensation, not only i can get a point across by i can do it quick. and a style is been develop that stays consistant in every piece, although i love doing quick stuff i still like providing my self and other fully finish illustrations.. i guess an artist can choose his style for his own good, i got a joker/ batman piece in mind.. and progress should be up soon.. stay tuned..

ships at war

not only u get inspire but you want to play more and more and thats what i did this time.. this concept illustration is base on war and the sun set tells a story.. enjoy and look forward for more..

new concept art

ever since i got down to florida my mind has expanded a little bit than before.. i'm starting to appreciate 2d art work more than ever and i been trying to give my self more creativity.. in this post i will show some of the concept art i have done lately.. although i been a bit slow on coming up with new topics i think i found a love for concept art.. i plan on keep doing it and keep illustrating, i'll like to add that this concepts haven't take more than 8 hours a piece.. but i am really happy with the results..

i got to say this piece took a while.. but it was well worth it.. with every piece you learn new things.... and i think the result payed off.. there will be more illustrations coming on.. and stay tuned because things can only get better :)

so far this is my latest illustration i been workin on.. its takin me a while to finish it than the usual time.. due to my school schedule and the amount of homework we get.. i hope to finish it soon and by far i think this piece is coming out great. it is a family portrait of my parents and my two little brothers.. enjoy it :)

Dark Deep

this was defently another learning experience that was taugh to me by my teacher Peter Caras, the lighlest light on this painting it a value 5 value, everything else is painted from a 1 to 5 value, i will love to apply this learned experience in future project; also it looks better in person than in photograph but i'm pretty happy with the end result... this was painted with oil paintings on illustration board.. enjoy it my friend, i will also like to say that i wont be doing much oil painting for a while due that i will be joining a visual effect school, but i will keep posting my artwork and it can only get better :)

i been doing life drawing for the past 2 weeks and i put something together for everyone to see..

i have decided to post some work in progress of the illustration i'm working on. i still have lot of work to be done but this next few days are going to be a bit busy for me. and since i am a big fan of soccer i think doing something like this is well worth it.. also its a good way to let u guys know how i am moving on and believe me i am still working on illustrations and will be!!!

rockwell meets the classics

this is a drawing that i did in may of 2010 not too long ago.. its all pencil and the idea behind it was to do a spoof of a Norman Rockwell self portrait and i decided to combine it with my favorite cartoons that i still watch. enjoy it :)

i just finish this piece call "wild west".. it took some time to figure some things out from you can only get better from practice.. in doing so there were time when i was like why did i choose this.. because there is a lot of small details within the cowboy, but i finally pullled it off and i think i twas well worth it..

hey everyone.. check out this experiment i did.. i was goin for something different and at the same time something interesting to look at.. not a typical everyday view .. and i have to admit i am having fun doing digital illustrations.. it's a new world of possibilities and experimentation.. u can call it finish or not finish.. i may go or not go back to it..

hey guys i just wanted to share this illustration that to be honest was a challenge to pull off.. but i'm pretty happy with the result i think i am getting better and better at it... i'm goin to keep illustrating cause thats what i do best.. and hopefully it will take me somewhere :P
